Job Role Summary
As a Full Stack Developer in the Aladdin eFront Engineering Team, you will be involved in designing and building new features across both frontend and backend for the eFront Invest platform. This includes developing scalable services, integrating cloud-based systems, and ensuring seamless user experiences. You will work in a collaborative and cross-functional environment where you’ll be exposed to modern tech stacks and agile methodologies, all while supporting BlackRock’s private markets and alternatives teams.
Key Responsibilities
1) Fullstack Development & System Design
- Develop and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java, Angular, Spring, and related frameworks
- Design scalable microservices and real-time data processing systems
- Ensure code quality through design patterns, code reviews, and unit testing
2) Collaboration & Agile Delivery
- Work closely with UX designers and end users to build intuitive, responsive interfaces
- Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies
- Collaborate across global teams for system integration and solution delivery
3) Performance Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Optimize web client-server performance for high-latency environments
